It's about midmorning that the considerably smaller of the two Sephiroths turns up at Charlie's office, wrapped thoroughly in what looks awfully like a small blanket with a hole cut in it for his head. It's warm, that's all that matters.
The bell is stared at.
Considered.
Ring it, is the helpful suggestion from Earenk, and he reaches out and gives it a tap. Anyone in?
Charlie emerges right on schedule at the sound of the bell. When he sees the young man, he smiles, albeit appearing a bit tired.
"Hello there, Sephiroth. Please, sit and make yourself at home. What can I do for you today?" He moves toward the little kitchenette stove. "Would you like some tea? Or perhaps hot cocoa? It's getting so chilly out there."
He's already going through the motions of lighting the stove and adjusting the kettle.
"..I won't keep you for long. I just .. have a couple of questions." He'll sit, but making himself at home is impossible, and anything to drink simply draws a negative shake of the head and a murmured 'no thank you'.
Hopefully not questions like the last ones. Charlie's color and breath weapon now lay on the list with the rest, albeit with no name attached.
But it is cold out and he very much doesn't like it so if he takes a spot furthest from drafty potential door openings, maybe it can be forgiven. "I'm ... no engineer, but I was hoping to get your opinion on some modifications to the town I'd like to work on if I can find the resources. If we're to be here for any great length of time, it seems we should be doing something to improve the lives of the people who belong here."
When and if they leave, then something good will have come of it.
A couple days after Charlie's history message.. but before Snow. Walk in!
